Borneo is recommended for the Mediterranean medium late / storage market. The plant has a strong root system, remarkable erect plant habit and healthy green foliage. The perfectly round shaped bulb has an attractive brown colour right after harvesting which makes the variety suitable for direct sales. Nevertheless, Borneo is especially bred for the long storage cycle.
